These terms apply to your use of peninsulahoney.ie and to any order you place with Peninsula Honey, operated by Niamh Begley, Mullabane, Carlingford, Co. Louth, Ireland. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Our products
We sell raw, single-origin honey and comb honey. As a natural product, honey varies between batches and seasons. Colour, texture and set will differ, and crystallisation is normal in raw honey. Photographs are representative; the jar you collect may look slightly different.
Availability
Everything is made in small batches and some varieties, particularly the comb honey, are limited and seasonal. We may sell out, and we cannot guarantee any item will be available at a given time.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Our standard jar is 340g at €8. Prices may change, but the price confirmed at the time you order is the price you pay.
Orders and collection
Peninsula Honey is sold direct for local collection at Mullabane, Carlingford, and at local markets. We do not currently post orders. Once you place an order we will confirm availability and arrange a collection time. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on collection.
Cancellation and returns
If something is not right with your honey, please contact us and we will put it right. Honey is a perishable foodstuff, so under EU and Irish consumer law the standard 14-day cooling-off period for distance sales does not apply to opened or perishable food items. This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, not as described, or not of merchantable quality.
Allergens
Honey is produced by bees and may contain natural traces of pollen and other bee products. Honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months. If you have a pollen or bee-product allergy, please take appropriate care.
Website use and intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, images and the Peninsula Honey name and logo, belongs to us and may not be reproduced without permission. You may not use the site in any unlawful way.
Liability
We take care to keep the site and our product information accurate, but we do not accept liability for losses that are not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
